A Long and Well Over Due Update!!

Our New Casita!

Well between two weddings, a trip up north, a few birthdays, trip to the circus, visit to Vegas, annual lake trip, about 3 concerts and countless trips back and forth from Cali and Arizona and much much more we have finally "settled" here in our new home. My vacation has officially come to an end. Now back to cooking and cleaning...I was way too spoiled. Thanks Cassy, Vince, Grandma and Grandpa...It was a great few months and time just flew by. The kids had a real hard time finally leaving Cassy's house. They were so use to people coming and going, the POOL, but mostly just always having family...which is why we did it!

Brent is loving and working hard at his new job in AZ. The unpacking is coming along slowly. Mostly everything is out of its box and in a random spot somewhere in this house. We lost a lot storage space without an attic so I'm having to be creative with where I put stuff. But we've gained a toy room and that room is pure chaos...The kids room are fully painted and put together. The rest of the house not so lucky. Cassy and I will be attempting our first "textured" accent wall. It's not so much paint as it is plaster. We seem to work well together so I'm not to worried...it should be fun! The backyard is dirt and and the front yard is dirt...that's all I can say about our landscaping. Our big project when it hopefully cools! Which reminds me....it's pretty darn hot out here! The heat has been a hard adjustment, It's also been pretty humid which i hear is typical for monsoon season. So instead of just "dry" heat its REALLY hot AND humid. Cant wait for fall!!
Andrew celebrated his fourth birthday in July...pirate style. His independence and charm keeps me on my toes. He's lost the baby innocence and now questions everything. Favorite word now being "Why?' and I hear it all day. Swore I would never say "because I said so" but after so many whys? all day its the easiest answer to give. He has mastered the pool and loves to swim. He still completely into cars, trucks and race cars. Now wanting to know their names...Poor guy, the ones I don't know I just make up...but nothing like aunt Cassy's "Pink-A-Saurus" He is still a huge people person talks to everyone and thinks everyone out there is his friend. He thinks everything is cool, he wants to dress cool, do his hair like a cool guy, trucks are cool...if its manly its cool! He loves his little sister even though at times he asks me not to let her in his room. They share a Jack N Jill bathroom so she'll sneak in one door while he's guarding the other. It's cute and she gets soo sad when I tell her she needs to stay out.

Brianna continues to amaze me...she is now fully potty trained some thing I take no credit for. She did it all on her own! She's very inquisitive and responsive to emotions. I don't know how to describe it but she's always putting two and two together...in other words nothing gets by her. She adores he brother and mommies him when she can. She says and does everything he does and is always just a step behind...She loves her babies and pushing them in their stroller. She loves anything girly...tutus, heels, purses, princess, makeup, ribbons, dresses...she loves it all. And best of all...she's a great eater. She loves to help around the house, always asking if there's something she can do. So she'll vacuum when I am, she does dishes, puts away her clothes. She's still a little shy but slowly coming out of her shell. She'll stay by my side in a big group, but she's ventured off if the group is small enough.
