Andrew and His Cars

Well for the past year or so Andrew's favorite toy been these little Matchbox cars. He'll play for hours with these little versions of life size cars. But there's a story behind these pictures. This boy is border line OCD....every single car has a name...to name a few...."Got-Me" "Papa's Truck" "Popa's Bus" "Daddy Truck" "Daddy's New Truck" "New One""Poopoos Truck" well you get the idea. Not only does every single car have a name they also have a partner. So if you grab some cars on your way out the door, you better grab its buddy or its gonna be a long ride. He's very methodical with these cars, he loves to just push them back and forth and watch the tires roll...soo entertained. This particular evening he decided to make what he called a "choochoo" out of his cars. This line stretched from the kitchen bar to fireplace about 100 cars and ALL facing the same direction....and if they had a hitch something was attached. Not ONLY was this masterpiece well layed out it was also color coordinated....all yellows were together then blues then blacks...just look at the pictures. He was very proud.

Priceless Entertainment

One empty diaper box, one finished roll of paper towels, one laundry basket (full of CLEAN clothes) Hours entertained PRICELESS!!

She loves her shoes!

Daughter after my own heart...she loves shoes, these were last years Christmas shoes that still "kinda" fit, but she likes them and will cram her toes just so she can wear them.
Watch out!! Here comes trouble!

Who Needs a Double Stroller??

Youc can spend a ton money to find the perfect double stroller and this is the way they like to travel....well not exactly this way, they sit together in the bigger stroller, but this would be cute!

We tried one more time and even though we didn't get a smile she sat there and played with some blocks, which was a huge improvement for her. She would get soo nervous, she was shaking, my poor baby. She's just not the center of attention lover that her big brother is...which is fine between Andrew and Brent I don't think I can handle another one!!

If you look real close you can see that I finally pierced her ears....AND without a single tear. She was more upset that I took away her fruit snacks than the sharp object piercing a hole in her. I think I was in way more pain that she ever was.

Our 5 Year Anniversary

Over the weekend Brent and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary! We were able to have one great baby free evening.

I took the kids to get Andrew's 3 year pictures and Brianna's 18 mo pictures....but it didn't work out soo good. We had to wait an extra hour, and Brianna didn't like the photographer....and to be honest I didn't either. Mom called her a moron...which must be pretty bad because mom never says anything bad about other people. She wasn't friendly at all, she almost seemed annoyed if they didn't listen. So it ended up as a HUGE waste of time. But I rescheduled in the hopes of a different photographer and more willing kids. Andrew was the HAM that he always is.
