A mini trip to Flagstaff

The kids and I decided to meet Brent in Flagstaff so that he could work a little extra that day and we could escape the heat! Even for just a few hours it was a gorgeous day!

We crashed the end of the Cardinal preseason training. I wish we cold have made it up sooner but with an unplanned feeding break and an unplanned potty break we enjoyed the time we had.

The people watching can sit right along side the field pretty cool if you get there early enough for those seats. With minimal security, I was amazed nobody ran out there.

They couldn't practice in a more beautiful place, the surrounding area is amazing. It was hard to concentrate on the practice when there was soo much to look at.....

Avery took it all in....especially the fresh air.

And Another One...

He spits when he talks, can not say some words, looks ridiculously cute, eats like slob, usually has food stuck to the side of his face from where he has teeth to bite, sticks his tongue through that little hole.....but we love him!

on a side note, the tooth fairy is no longer a feared creature that lurks in their room at night. Andrew said it's just dad and Brianna realizes that the fairy that crawls under Andrews pillow at night will stay far away from her. We now leave the tooth on his dresser in this plasticy ugly tooth holder he got at school. Brianna also doesn't want the tooth fairy to leave her anything, when she does lose teeth....she said she's ok with not getting a dollar from tooth fairy because daddy will just give her one...and she's probably right

I've been single-momming it all week, while Brent is working in Flagstaff, so I've needed to come up with creative solutions during bath time, dinner time....come to think up pretty much most of the day.

Andrew needs to read for 20 minutes everyday, and trying to cram everything into one day including homework gets a little tricky. This night while waiting their turn for the shower, Andrew read and Avery listened. Everyone was happy!....oh and yes my bed at the end of the day never gets made....feel free to ignore that.

Story time turned into snuggle time then tickle time.
