I took the kids to get Andrew's 3 year pictures and Brianna's 18 mo pictures....but it didn't work out soo good. We had to wait an extra hour, and Brianna didn't like the photographer....and to be honest I didn't either. Mom called her a moron...which must be pretty bad because mom never says anything bad about other people. She wasn't friendly at all, she almost seemed annoyed if they didn't listen. So it ended up as a HUGE waste of time. But I rescheduled in the hopes of a different photographer and more willing kids. Andrew was the HAM that he always is.

Pork Chops and Brownies!!

Brianna loves her meat. Made some pork chops and decided to give Brianna the bone, she loved it, looked like a little caveman eating for the first time. She sucked that bone clean...Finger lickin good

Andrew liked the idea of eating like a caveman but it was all show...nothing actually went into his stomach.

Teething the last molars and i-teeth...its been really hard on her, my poor baby. Just bright red swollen gums and NO teeth!

Cheese Face, she's actually saying cheese long and drawn out with her deep voice. I wish she wouldn't because she stopped smiling to say cheese, but it sounds soo cute!

Family Update!!

Baby Update...

Andrew: surprises me everyday with new things to say and he remembers everything, even those little things you want him to forget or not repeat. He tells Brent all when he gets home, good or bad....so now I've got to be careful, nothing passes him :) Still loves his tractor and is getting more and more adventurous after each ride. We've started a little homework session/quite time during Brianna's naps, where he's learning to write and color in the lines. His attention span isn't the greatest so it's pretty short lived. He suffers from what we call SOS: "shiny object syndrome" But he'll concentrate for hours pushing his cars, watching the wheels and how they turn, just not his ABC's or 123's.

Brianna: she continues to amaze me everyday...she's talking and repeating soo much. She walks around the house say "AAAANNDREWWW" she's even putting words together, she says Ni-Nite Go? or Andrew Go? Of course she got My Ni-Nite or Mine! down real good. And she is one tough little girl. She holds her own in combat with Andrew, actually she's more the bully, but she will always hug and kiss when the fighting is done. She likes to take things from Andrew to get a reaction the calmly hand them back....just like little girls should.

Andrew is 3!!!

My baby boy is growing up soo fast!!! Yesterday was all about him (as if every other day wasn't)....We spent the afternoon with his friends at McDonalds for hamburgers and ice cream. Then we went out to dinner with our neighbor and her kids. She was soo sweet and baked him a Huge race car cake!!

The Tractor!!! Just like daddy....he loves it.

Brianna started this face and when ever you ask her to make "the face" it looks something like this...Andrew style.

I almost didn't do the blog this week because in all the kids pictures from the week they are not wearing a stitch of clothing, minus a diaper or underwear. I should go wake them up and get some pictures so that you know that we clothe them...but hey it's Texas....you can do that kinda hill-billy stuff here and it's OK.

It's been HOT thus no clothes, between back yard pool and the community pool, we're staying cool. I've got Brianna jumping off the side of the pool to me and Andrew loves running through the water fountain. Taking two mobile kids to a public pool sure is fun...keeps me on my toes!!

This will be the last blog until we get back from Las Vegas so hope everyone has a wonderful week or two. Will come back with lots of pictures!!

A Trip Down Memory Lane...

Either the weather or the lack of down time has knocked the kiddos out!! They are both taking long naps during the day. Brianna is still on a two nap schedule and Andrew crashes when he wants but right now they are OUT!! I'm not complaining, I've been able to take showers without company, read my own book without pictures and watch movies that aren't rated G. I was going back and looking at old pictures of Andrew and Nana taken exactly one or two years ago today! Amazing how much they change....Enjoy!!

Looking Through the Eyes of a Two a One Year Old....and a Dog

Wanted to share some pictures from the week. We've had some great weather so we are spending lots of time outside.

Don't think he's picking up bugs...that's Brianna's job, he's looking at sand or water. Dead bugs here are now referred to as "broken" They love picking up those little rolly pollies, nasty looking bugs. Anyways the kids squish them between they're fingers and "break" them looking at us to then "fix" them. Who knows what they are looking at, but what a cool picture. She LUVS her Yukon!!!

We went to the Annual Deutschen Pfest...(No it's not a typo, that's how Pflugervillians spell every "f" word here...don't know about the bad one haven't seen that in writing...yet, but I'm sure it is...) Just a German celebration with beer and sausage, it was a great time. Andrew went to the petting zoo and picked up every animal that wouldn't run from him. His favorite were the bunnies and the goats, and pigs and cows and chickens....he loved it all. Brianna rode a mini horse, not a pony. She's a born rider...that's my girl. No fear she loved it. Andrew would pet it but wasn't willing to saddle up.
