Brianna is ONE!!!

I learned to laugh and squeal,

then sit and stand,

Now I can walk if you hold my hand!

Look out world I turned ONE!!!

The real fun has only just begun....

Here are just a few of Brianna's birthday pictures....Hope to get the rest out before the end of the week. Brianna was the sweetest little princess on her big day! Surprisingly she loved being the center of attention, and went with who ever was willing to lend her a finger. We had a great time in California, Thank you to everybody who celebrated Brianna's first birthday with us! It was a very memorable day, one that we will never forget.

Another Week with Our Sweet Babies

Poor little one's had a rough week....It started off with colds that wouldn't quit. Then one night Andrew woke up telling me he had "bugs in his ears"....So we went to the Dr's and sure enough two ear infections. First one in 2.5 years so I'm not complaining. Two days into the antibiotics and he's good to go. About 3 days later Brianna wakes up in the middle of the night shoving her finger into her ear....So we go to Dr's and just like before, two ear infections. She's off the antibiotics and getting into everything!! She loves toilet paper and cabinets. And since the kitchen has about 20 she's into all of them....and she's literally IN them, she crawls completely inside all you see are her two beautiful brown eyes looking back at you.

Andrew at 2.5 has grown into quite the handful. He knows exactly what he wants and has developed quite the imagination. He now sees monsters and mostly at night during bed time. I have no clue where he learned this word, so I told him to tell the monsters to "go away leave me alone". So that is exactly what I hear at night from his room...Seems to work! He also made me play the role of a true white trash Texan....It all started one morning I realized I was out of formula, and as much as I HATE wal-mart they do have the cheapest formula by far. So off to wal-mart it was, kids were up and fed and now it's time to get dressed. Well it turns out Andrew was in his favorite PJ's (tractors) and he absolutely refused to take them off. So we went to wal-mart in our PJ's. The worst part is that no one looked at us funny, I guess we finally fit in. Lesson learned: no tractor PJs the night before a big trip!

Snow Update!!

Well the snow is gone....but not the memories!! Probably one of the few chances to have snow your in our own backyard...well at least that's what I keep telling myself. The kids loved it and I'm not complaining either. It definitely made for a great birthday weekend. Granted we couldn't go anywhere, but I got breakfast in bed, didn't have to change a single poopy diaper and got to keep Brent home for 4.5 straight days. What else could I ask for?? The kids got chocolate cake and I got to clean up the HUGE mess they made!! And I'm happy to report that the weather has topped out to the 60's this week.

Snow....Snow....and more snow. They said we got 1/10 of an inch, but they never measure our lawn...Blue tarp is how we Southern Californians keep our palm trees from freezing. They also had little towels wrapped around their bases...too cold couldn't get that on photo.

Brianna is 11months and we're SNOW'D in

Well Brianna is eleven months old today and last night she started WALKING!!! She would take about 5-6 steps and then get all excited. She looked like a little zombie....her arms were straight out in front. Wont be long before my baby takes off, don't think I'm ready for that!

I guess you have to read all the fine print when you move to a new state....because NOBODY mentioned anything about snow in Texas!!

Tried to get him to match but after about the fifth layer we were running out of options.

New Year, New Look...Same Babies

The new year inspired me to change to look of the blog....Babies are growing super fast. Everyday Andrew comes up with something new to say. He now says I do it, when you ask him his name he'll say Andrew Michael, (it's cuter to hear him say it), the trash is now "trash man" and his relating objects by their size. Everything big is daddy, smaller is mama and smallest is baby. So he has all his toys grouped by their size. And he'll ask for baby airplane or mama trash, it's a very detailed form of classification...well at least I think so. He had a great Christmas and continues to talk about Santa. There was an older gentlemen with a long white beard at the grocery store and Andrew was calling him Santa. The man seemed offended but I thought it was pretty funny. His growing up and maturing so much everyday....
Brianna is on her way to walking. If it was up to my parents they would have had her walking before they left. The most we got was standing and then three steps all alone. She would just get too excited and then sit. But I'm in no hurry. I like just being able to cuddle and her not knowing she can have that independence. She's turned into the little dancing machine. Andrew likes to play everything that has a music button at the same time and Brianna just sits there with her hands in the air dancing. Again cuter to see her do it.

Well Happy New Year hope every ones new year is all they expect and more!

Cookie Decorating 12/21. Andrew had a blast and made a HUGE mess. Brianna sat there with a cookie in her mouth and a bottle of sprinkles in her hand.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning Brianna looked soo cute in her new dress. Andrew loved all the new toys!!
